Timo van Lierop

Timo van Lierop is an musician in many ways. 

At a young age, already in to roots and blues, Timo formed a band together with Tom and Gijs de Jong, called MOOON playing 60's and 70's inspired psych and blues rock. Playing all over Europe and many releases later there is inspiration in abundance.

Now with a different approach to music, his songwriting leaned more in to folk and alt-country. Without going too far away from his rockin' roots with lot's of freestyle ofcourse. Timo makes a new mix of everything he thinks is cool. Combining roots with pop, and rock with folk. The Jeff Tweedy of the lowlands, or Kurt Vile of Brabant is what they say, but decide for yourself please. 

The release of his first solo album 'Earth Tones' (Bottom Shelf Records, 2023) got noted for his unique mix of styles, and doing the whole production himself, the result is now on  Vinyl in the webshop, best record stores, and online on all streaming services. They say it's got lot's of plays on Spotify or whatever that is. 

Joining him for live shows are the fabulous Stardusters. Already seasoned musicians in their own right. More on them below.
